The Assistant Manager (Survey) is responsible for supporting the planning, execution, and management of land and infrastructure surveys. This includes supervising survey teams, ensuring accuracy in data collection, interpreting survey results, and coordinating with engineering, planning, and construction teams to support project delivery.Key Responsibilities:Assist in planning and managing topographical, boundary, construction, and geodetic surveys.Supervise field survey teams, ensuring accurate and timely data collection.Conduct site inspections to verify survey data and resolve discrepancies.Process and analyze survey data using software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, or GIS tools.Support the preparation of detailed survey reports, maps, and drawings.Coordinate with engineering and project teams to provide survey inputs during design and construction stages.Ensure compliance with safety standards, survey codes, and regulatory requirements.Maintain and calibrate survey equipment (e.g., total stations, GPS, levels).Train and mentor junior surveyors and technicians.Keep records of survey results and maintain a database of survey data.Required Qualifications and Skills:Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Surveying, Civil Engineering, Geomatics, or related field.3–5 years of experience in land or construction surveying.Strong knowledge of survey instruments and data collection techniques.Proficiency in survey software (AutoCAD, Civil 3D, GIS, Leica/Trimble software, etc.).Understanding of geospatial data, coordinate systems, and map projections.Good communication and leadership skills.Ability to work independently and under pressure.Willingness to travel to project sites as required.Preferred:Certification from a recognized Surveying Board or Institution.Experience in large infrastructure or construction projects.Knowledge of drone surveying and LiDAR is an added advantage.JOB APPLYhttp://jobs.vinayakjob.com/CONTACT DETAILS :-NAME - SHASHI NUMBER - 93026 42415
