- Develop and implement manpower plans aligned with project and operational requirements.
- Lead end-to-end recruitment for all levels, including Supervisors, Drivers, Executives, Assistant Managers, Managers, and senior management roles.
- Coordinate with site teams to ensure timely deployment, onboarding, and induction of manpower.
- Manage contracts with manpower vendors and ensure statutory adherence.
- Ensure full compliance with applicable labour laws including Minimum Wages, PF, ESI, Bonus, Gratuity, and Shops & Establishments Act.
- Maintain employee records, attendance, muster rolls, and wage registers as per statutory requirements.
- Liaise with labour departments and government authorities for inspections, audits, and compliance reviews.
- Oversee end-to-end payroll processing and attendance management.
- Review and validate monthly salary sheets, overtime calculations, and statutory deductions.
- Coordinate with the Accounts team for salary disbursement, TDS, and statutory filings.
- Implement and monitor digital attendance systems (e.g., ESSL) across multiple project sites.
- Design and drive employee welfare, engagement, and motivation initiatives.
- Handle employee grievances, counselling sessions, and disciplinary matters effectively.
- Strengthen communication between management and field teams to improve engagement and reduce attrition.
- Conduct training and awareness programs related to safety, hygiene, discipline, and compliance.
- Implement and manage performance appraisal systems across all employee levels.
- Identify skill gaps and recommend training and development initiatives.
- Support management in improving workforce productivity and efficiency.
- Formulate, review, and update HR policies, SOPs, and guidelines in line with legal and organizational requirements.
- Implement disciplinary procedures, reward, and recognition frameworks.
- Ensure consistent application of HR policies across all project locations.
- Coordinate with labour contractors, local authorities, and unions (where applicable).
- Support operations teams in resolving workforce or community-related issues.
- Represent the HR function during management reviews, audits, and compliance assessments.
- UG / PG / PGDM in Human Resources or a related discipline.
- 8 15 years of overall HR experience, with at least 5 8 years in Solid Waste Management, Infrastructure, Facility Management, Manufacturing, or similar sectors.
- Strong expertise in statutory and labour compliance, particularly for contractual and municipal workforce environments.
- Proven experience in managing large-scale on-roll and off-roll manpower (minimum 3,000+ employees).
- Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Effective leadership and decision-making abilities.
- Hands-on experience with HRMS and payroll systems.
- Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving capabilities.
- Ability to manage multi-location, field-intensive workforce operations.
- Timely recruitment and deployment of manpower for projects.
- Zero statutory non-compliance during audits and inspections.
