Job SummaryWe are looking for an experienced mechanical design engineer with strong expertise in automated and multi-level car parking systems. The candidate will be responsible for proposal drawings, GAD preparation, development and production drawings, ensuring compliance with international mechanical standards. The role requires hands-on experience in R&D, design optimization, and coordination with production and site teams for seamless project execution.Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare proposal drawings for customized mechanical car parking systems based on site constraints and client requirements.Conduct site visits, measurements, and feasibility assessments to ensure accurate and practical design implementation.Develop General Arrangement Drawings (GAD), development drawings, and detailed production drawings using AutoCAD and SolidWorks.Perform R&D activities for design enhancement, material optimization, and new product development.Create detailed production drawings including mechanical tolerances, dimensions, and material specifications.Ensure all designs comply with IS, ISO, ASME, DIN standards and relevant safety regulations.Coordinate with production, installation, and site teams for smooth fabrication and execution.Manage drawing revisions, documentation, and project records as per company quality standards.Support prototype development and implement design modifications based on feedback or site conditions.Optimize designs for manufacturability, structural strength, cost efficiency, and safety performance.Systems ExposureSingle Stacker Parking SystemsCantilever Parking Systems2-Level, 3-Level & 4-Level Parking Systems (Pit & Above-Ground)Puzzle Parking Systems (Hydraulic – Pit & Above-Ground)Tower Parking SystemsRequired Skills & CompetenciesStrong knowledge of mechanical design, fabrication, and assembly processesProficiency in AutoCAD (2D/3D) and SolidWorks (3D modelling & assemblies)Excellent understanding of IS, ISO, ASME, and DIN standardsExperience in design optimization and R&DAbility to interpret and execute technical drawings accuratelyStrong problem-solving and analytical skillsGood coordination and communication skillsDetail-oriented with focus on quality, safety, and innovationEducational QualificationDiploma / Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Mechanical DraftingHSC (Science) preferredExperience RequirementMinimum 5+ years of relevant experience in mechanical designPrior experience in automated car parking systems or material handling systems preferred
