Our team is focused on delivering pharmacy capabilities that will provide cutting-edge AI, user experience advancements, and offer open APIs for customers.As a Sr Principal Member of Technical Staff, you will be responsible for building cutting edge AI-first Electronic Health Record (EHR) capabilities. The ideal candidate will possess a strong full stack technical skillset and have experience with frontend development, Java service development, and public cloud providers.As a Sr PMTS, you will play a vital role in shaping the future of Health and AI at Oracle. As a member of the software engineering division, you will take an active role in the definition and evolution of standard practices and procedures. You will be responsible for defining and developing software for tasks associated with the developing, designing and debugging of software applications or operating systems. Duties and tasks are diverse and intricate, demanding independent judgment.Job description displayed in the job postingResponsibilities:
  • BS or MS in Computer Science, or equivalent experience
  • 10+ years of working experience shipping scalable, cloud-native distributed systems
  • Expertise in Java service development
  • Strong understanding of System design concepts (HLD,LLD)
  • Experience deploying services on Kubernetes.
  • Experience with continuous integration and automated testing.
  • Strong REST API design skills.
  • Full stack development experience building on public cloud providers.
  • Written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present complex information in a clear, concise manner to all audiences.
  • Comfortable in a collaborative, agile development environment.
  • Public Cloud SaaS, PaaS Services and/or related technology experience, Cloud Engineering Infrastructure Development.
Responsibilities
  • As a member of the software engineering division, you will take an active role in the definition and evolution of standard practices and procedures. You will be responsible for defining and developing software for tasks associated with the developing, designing and debugging of software applications or operating systems.
  • Accountable for broad software design, code quality and architecture decisions
  • Lead and direct architecture discussions, design sessions and code reviews for functional correctness, architectural maintainability, and performance.
  • Develop long-term technical roadmap for solution area.
  • Code for high-risk projects that have solution dependencies within and outside current team.
  • Analyse, understand and develop complex architectures, design and associated sub-systems.
  • Ability to understand someone else's complex code very quickly
  • Ability to multi-task and deal with changing priorities.
  • Collaborate with multiple stakeholders such as Development leads, Product Management, Operations, Release Management to make, adopt and communicate technical decisions and shape the development and delivery of software.
