This role will be responsible for end-to-end SAP operations including application Implementations, support, incident and problem management, change and release governance, vendor management, and operational excellence across SAP platforms (e.g., S/4HANA, ECC, BW, Fiori, etc.).
The ideal candidate will combine strong SAP functional/technical expertise with leadership capabilities, service management discipline, and a continuous improvement mindset.Responsibilities
1. SAP Operations & Service Delivery
· Lead day-to-day SAP operations ensuring system availability, reliability, and performance.
· Own SLA/KPI adherence for SAP services (incident resolution, system uptime, response times).
· Manage L1/L2/L3 support model (internal and/or managed services partners).
· Ensure robust monitoring, alerting, and proactive issue resolution.2. Incident, Problem & Change Management
- Govern ITIL-aligned processes for incident, problem, and change management.
- Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) and implement preventive measures.
- Chair CAB (Change Advisory Board) for SAP-related releases.
- Ensure release stability and minimal business disruption.
- Oversee SAP environments (DEV, QA, PRD).
- Coordinate upgrades, patches, and enhancement packs.
- Ensure integration stability across SAP modules and third-party systems.
- Manage SAP transport governance and release cycles.
- Act as the primary liaison between IT and business process owners.
- Ensure business continuity for critical operations (finance, supply chain, manufacturing, etc.).
- Translate business priorities into operational IT actions.
- Ability to drive growth
- Manage SAP AMS providers, infrastructure vendors, and cloud partners.
- Monitor vendor performance against SLAs.
- Optimize cost and contract governance.
- Drive Governance cadence
- Lead and mentor SAP support teams.
- Develop team capabilities and succession planning.
- Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and service excellence.

Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
- SAP experience with SAP operations leadership.
- Hands-on exposure to SAP modules (e.g., SCM Modules) across ECC and S/4 HANA
- Proven track records in SAP implementation projects
- Proven track record in SAP upgrades, releases, and production support governance.
- Strong understanding of integrations (IDocs, APIs, middleware, etc.)
- Ability to deliver high quality and reliable software by collaborating with team. Outstanding analytical skills, ability to apply expertise to drive complex, technical and highly commercial solutions. Possess good verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent customer facing skills that include conducting compelling technical briefing& demonstrations including issues, status reports and resolving impediments.
- Experience with SAP S/4HANA with focus on SCM
- SAP certification(s).
- Experience in cloud-based SAP environments (Azure, AWS, RISE with SAP).
- Familiarity with SAP Solution Manager / SAP Cloud ALM.
- Experience in global/multi-country SAP landscape.
