Occasional travel to a physical office may be required to enhance working relationships, collaboration, design, strategy and alignment.Job DescriptionAs a IT Vendor Relations Specialist at QAD you will be responsible for the overall management of all IT applications for global use. This includes managing the accounts of many of our hosted applications, ensuring the licensing compliance of our client applications, and conducting regular contract reviews and renewals. The IT Vendor Relations Specialist also oversees hardware procurement and asset management, as well as hardware disposal, reconciling invoices and payments with accounts payable, setting up new suppliers, and submitting requests for purchase orders.What You’ll Do:
  • Manage application user and license compliance of hosted and installed applications. Engage with users and vendors to ensure timely and efficient procurement and retirement of licenses and expenses.
  • Manage hardware lifecycle including procurement and disposal. Ensures hardware assets are properly tracked and managed using our asset management tool.
  • Manage agreements and associated records within our asset management system to capture details required to assess applications for renewal and manage approved licensing for end users.
  • Perform and document periodic audits of applications to ensure compliance, procuring as necessary.
  • Develop and manage material related to the internal awareness of various applications’ proper use and expense. This includes policies, messaging, lifecycle and compliance details.
QualificationsProfessional degree: BA Degree or equivalentExperience: 3+ years business related experienceComputer skills: Windows based computer skills and some programming skills. Google Workspace, Altiris, Active Directory experience is a plus.Other knowledge / skills:
  • Strong technical knowledge of operating systems, Windows-based applications, software management and licensing tools.
  • Experience in technical documentation, policies and procedures.
  • Excellent oral and written communication and presentation skills.
  • Able to work independently and in team environments.
  • Able to take on large projects and manage them to completion.
  • Must be detail oriented and able to handle multiple priorities in a fast paced business environment.
