- Analysing the requirements of electrical systems and components based on customer satisfaction; making and adjusting design plans accordingly.
- Designing, testing and creating electrical systems and components, while ensuring that products can work alone and/or are compatible with other systems.
- Managing and negotiating with electrical and electronic equipment vendors for the development of systems and components.
- Collaborating with colleagues in electrical, mechanical and other engineering branches.
- Complying with safety regulations throughout the development process.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent
- 4+ years of experience in product design & development related to electrification technologies like Motors, Electric Drives, Battery energy storage systems, hybrids, electric vehicles (EV), etc
- Working knowledge of the NPI process
- Functional validation testing experience will be an added advantage.
