The team is responsible for monitoring asset files end-to-end — from receipt through delivery — ensuring all content meets required specifications and is delivered on time. Team members act as the primary point of contact for content-related issues, reaching out to providers when files are missing or non-compliant, troubleshooting delivery failures, and confirming successful content delivery to client destinations.The VOD Technician 1 is the first line of operations for content delivery monitoring. This role is responsible for tracking incoming asset files from content providers, verifying that all required files are received, validating
content against client specifications using internal tools, and ensuring on-time delivery. The technician escalates failed or non-compliant spots to the ADfusion account management team, supports account deactivation processes in Salesforce, and maintains accurate records throughout every shift.Job DescriptionCore Responsibilities
  • Ensures that all content is published in production within service level agreement.
  • Verifies media and metadata are error-free. Works with content provider to resolve errors.
  • Detects and fixes missing metadata to ensure proper placement and display of video across platforms.
  • Verifies that all media and metadata follows the current specifications.
  • Receives and processes media and metadata from content providers.
  • Supports coordinators, ensuring that issues they identify are being resolved.
  • Audits partner delivery (compare pitch list vs. received).
  • Uses daily metrics report to react to and improve upon content partner or delivery issues.
  • Builds and maintains content partner relationships with their peers.
  • Troubleshoots or escalates issues that occur within the Video Operations value chain.
  • Regular, consistent and punctual attendance. Must be able to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) and overtime as necessary.
