- Act as the functional bridge between customer Maximo environments and Innovapptive cloud applications, ensuring accurate data mapping, event handling, and lifecycle synchronization.
- Translate Maximo business objects (WO, Asset, PM, Inventory, Labor, Measurements) into role-based, mobile-first, operator-friendly use cases on Innovapptive apps.
- Design and configure Maximo workflows and business rules to integrate seamlessly with Innovapptive cloud applications, minimizing customizations and aligning with product-led best practices.
- Assess customer Maximo master data quality (assets, locations, PMs, job plans, item masters) and recommend remediation strategies to ensure successful Innovapptive adoption
- Utilize Maximo’s Integration Framework to enable near real-time, event-driven data exchange between Maximo and Innovapptive SaaS applications, supporting offline/online mobility scenarios.
- Analyze customer business processes to enhance asset management, maintenance workflows, and operational efficiency.
- Extract and analyze Maximo data (e.g., work orders, asset performance) to deliver insights that improve productivity, efficiency, and cost decision-making.
- Guide customers on integration architecture, data flows, interface table design, and message processing.
- Mentor and advise development and implementation teams on solution design, configurations, and best practices.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or any field.
- Minimum 6–8 years of hands-on IBM Maximo experience, including requirement gathering, documentation, and implementation.
- 5+ years of strong techno-functional experience with IBM Maximo V7.x and/or MAS, including configuration, workflows, and integrations.
- Experience conducting customer workshops, drafting business requirements, and preparing solution design documents.
- In-depth understanding of Maximo core modules and key object structures, schemas, and interface tables for alerts, assets, work orders, service orders, and measurement readings.
- Strong understanding of the end-to-end Work Order lifecycle, including planning, execution, confirmation, and closure.
- Solid functional knowledge of Asset & Location hierarchy modeling, maintenance strategies, and Maximo user roles aligned to industry use cases.
- Ability to align customer requirements to standard Innovapptive product capabilities, identifying gaps, workarounds, and configuration-based solutions instead of custom builds.
- Hands-on experience designing and using Maximo’s Integration Framework for inbound and outbound message processing.
- Proficiency in managing and querying Maximo databases (SQL, DB2, Oracle).
- BIRT (Business Intelligence and Reporting Tools) for building custom reports and dashboards.
- Experience with inbound message processing using alternate keys, metadata/object schemas, interface tables and flat file exchanges, integration web services, endpoint configuration for external systems, and custom data exchanges between Maximo and other systems.
- Exposure to industries such as oil & gas, chemicals, utilities, manufacturing, healthcare, or transportation is preferable.
- Functional knowledge of Enterprise Asset Management (EAM), asset lifecycle management, condition-based maintenance, and KPIs for maintenance.
- Knowledge of advanced predictive and condition-based maintenance strategies.
- Familiarity with IBM Maximo Application Suite (MAS) architecture and roadmap considerations.
- Understanding of inventory and warehouse management processes.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical thinking in technical and business contexts.
- Strong client-facing communication and presentation skills.
