Looking for Enterprise Tools Application Senior Support Engineer work within the Enterprise Tools Domain. The ideal candidate for this will have operations, application support, and development experience across hybrid environments, consisting of private/public cloud and on prem, running on AWS, Linux, and Windows. This role will join an existing application support team, & the development and implementation of automation to improve efficiency and productivity of services and applications while also decreasing manual error prone processes. The candidate will be looking after a large variety of enterprise Managed File Transfer, Monitoring, Logging, and Workload Scheduling Application Tools and will be responsible for supporting the tooling systems. SHIFT HOURS: 24x5, Monday - Friday, weekly rotation across 3 shifts SF1: 02:00 - 11:00 (UK Hours) SF2: 09:00 - 18:00 (UK Hours) SF3: 17:30 - 02:30 (UK Hours) ON CALL: 24x7, weekly rotation Role Responsibilities Experience in crafting, Infrastructure build and developing solutions using Go Anywhere MFT standard FTP servers and secure FTP servers using SFTP (SSH File Transfer Protocol), SCP, and FTPS (FTP over SSL) protocols Must have a Go-Anywhere MFT Admin Experience Hands of experience with Go-Anywhere Forta. Good to have experience on GoAnywhere Architecture and Integration. Experience with Secure File Transfer Protocol (SFTP) tools, standards and processes between client and server on a computer network Chips in to the Managed File Transfer (MFT) strategy by identifying and developing platform improvement and process improvement opportunities. Crafting, updating, and modifying the SQL database, Leading the SQL database for all the manual and Automated Job setups Experience of handling issues w.r.t transfer protocols such as FTP, SFTP, SSH, HTTPs, SMB, SharePoint and others Creating, updating, and modifying the SQL database, Managing the SQL database for all the manual and Automated Job setups Good knowledge and experience of of GoAnywhere MFT API Good knowledge and experience of of GoAnywhere MFT and iCAP integration Experience with MoogSoft and DataDog for Anywhere MFT and iCAP monitoring and alert Ability to work normal business hours and after hours/on call responsibilities and able to provide 24/7 support for the GoAnywhere application. Good knowledge and experience on AWS infrastructure and Unix/Window System Administrative Perform GoAnywhere MFT and ICAP OS upgrade as long as application upgrade to stay in sync with operation and security policy Provide 1st/2nd line of application support across a large variety of enterprise Managed File Transfer, Monitoring, Logging, and Workload Scheduling Tools Expertise in Managed File Transfer application on Fortra's MFTGoAnywhere would be an advantage Resolves advanced more sophisticated issues related to MFT Own and drive incidents and problems to completion for our services and applications, including log analysis, engagement of vendor support, and team representation during major incident calls Participate in weekly on call rotation to provide 24x7 support Participate in DR exercises involving our services and applications Provide DevOps support in an operations role Basic Requirements 10+ years of Application Support Experience 5+ years of SME experience on MFTGoAnywhere Bachelors degree or substantial experience Experience with BMC Control-M will be additional advantage Preferred Logic based automations using APIs, MS Flows. Workflows, and RPA's ITIL foundation certification (preferred) Alert Aggregation Tools such as Moogsoft, BigPanda Event Monitoring Tools such as BMC TrueSight, HP Operations Bridge Manage (OBM), HP Operations Manager (HPOM) Familiarity of Systems Monitoring Tools like Nagios, SCOM Skills in scripting with languages such as Python / Perl / PowerShell / Bash Shell / Batch / Ansible / Terraform Microsoft SQL Server ServiceNow Experience working on Linux and Windows OS Experience working on Cloud Computing - AWS, Azure Cloud based monitoring / Capacity Management - DataDog Stay up to date with industry trends Competences And Behaviors Highly self-motivated with the ability to identify areas of focus and address new challenges Must be able to communicate efficiently and build shown relationships with individuals at all levels, in multiple geographies and business functions Strong oral, written, and presentation abilities - able to convey topics to different partners Ability to work within a multifaceted and fast paced international environment Ability to build rapport with other team members and relevant teams Drive innovation and standard methodology Strive for standardization and simplification in all aspects of work LSEG is a leading global financial markets infrastructure and data provider.
