- Lead the Engineering Stores operations and team to ensure timely and efficient material handling.
- Strategically plan and monitor inventory levels of engineering materials, MROs, and spares to avoid stock-outs.
- Ensure ERP-based compliance for all transactions—receipt, inspection, issuance, and reporting.
- Oversee document verification (vehicle slips, invoices) and handover to customs or excise departments.
- Maintain compliance with SEZ documentation and regulatory protocols.
- Implement best practices in 5S, storage, stacking, space management, and FIFO/FEFO.
- Prepare and monitor departmental budgets, expenses, and cost controls.
- Conduct root cause analysis for stock discrepancies and initiate corrective actions.
- Drive periodic reconciliation of physical stock with ERP/book stock.
- Coordinate with maintenance, projects, purchase, finance, and audit teams for seamless material flow and compliance.
- Handle vendor coordination, external logistics, and government interactions for warehousing or clearances.
- Ensure safety procedures are followed rigorously and regularly conduct trainings.
- Drive digitalization, automation, and continuous improvement initiatives in stores operations.
