Mobile Developer (Software Engineer), Assurant-GCC, IndiaIn this role, you will work closely with a small product team to create mobile applications and SDKs to serve customers with engaging, dynamic user experience. We have seen people thrive in this role from a variety of backgrounds, but we work primarily in React Native, Android and iOS.Responsibilities include solving problems independently and with peers, researching and experimenting with new technology and UX designs, and building features that we measure for value to our users. Candidates must have strong communication skills, the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently, sound judgment, and the ability to be productive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.This position will be in Hyderabad at our India location.What will be my duties and responsibilities in this job?

60% - Software Development – Active Coding
20 % - Software Development – Code Reviews
10% - Attend Agile Ceremonies (Planning, Retro, PI Events, etc)
10% - Update / Design / Review architectural documents related to APIs or product flows
Other projects and assignments may result and be assigned to accommodate the changing needs of the department and the company.

What are the requirements needed for this position?Technical Experience Requirements

Bachelors of Science
4+ years mobile development experience
2+ Experience developing React Native
2+ Experience consuming GraphQL and RESTful APIs
JavaScript/Typescript experience
Strong understanding of GIT version control
Strong foundation in object-oriented or functional programming
Solid understanding of full development lifecycle
