Role: Finance LeadExperience: 3-5 YearsEducation: CA QualifiedJob Summary:We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Sr. Manager - Finance to lead our financial operations in Hyderabad. This role requires a seasoned professional who can drive financial performance, oversee project-level financial trends, and implement strategic initiatives to optimize profitability and efficiency across the organization.Project and Portfolio Financial Oversight· Monitor financial performance across all service portfolios.· Analyze revenue patterns and identify cost overruns and revenue loss.· Guide pricing strategies through client profitability analysis.Operational Efficiency and Resource Planning· Collaborate with HR and project managers to address open positions and leaves.· Develop strategies to improve project performance.· Align financial resources with shifting project demands.· Update billing rates following employee promotions.Receivables and Cost Structure Management· Optimize Sales Days Outstanding (DSO) to improve cash flow.· Develop cost management strategies to improve margins.Financial Dashboards and Data-Driven Insights· Create financial dashboards for real-time performance insights.· Leverage analytics to support strategic decision-making.Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, or related field. MBA from IIM in Finance preferred.
  • 3-5 years of experience in finance, ideally within an IT consulting or services firm.
  • Deep understanding of manpower cost structures, project-based accounting, and financial management in an IT services environment.
  • Proven experience in budgeting, financial planning, cost control, and risk management.
Desired Skills and Attributes:
  • Strong knowledge of GAAP, IFRS, and other relevant accounting standards.
  • Expertise in manpower cost management within a project-driven environment.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
  • Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret financial data to inform decision-making.
  • Hands-on experience with ERP and financial software systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics)
