Gen24 Flybiz offers comprehensive services for aspiring pilots, airlines, and training organisations. In 2025, the Avion Flight Training Centre Mumbai - operated by Gen24 - will be opened.At our facility, pilots can train on state-of-the-art Full Flight Simulators (FFS) and Flight Navigation Procedures Trainer (FNPTII) devices. Currently, our centre operates two Airbus A320neo Full Flight Simulators from Avion and an A320 FNPTII for APS MCC training, built by Simnest. Over the coming years, we will expand to six to eight Full Flight Simulators, including additional Airbus A320s and Boeing 737 MAX devices, providing comprehensive training solutions for airlines and individual pilots.TasksResponsibilitiesThe Flight Simulator Technician is responsible for executing all maintenance tasks necessary for the simulator's smooth operation. The Technician can contract support to assist with these activities.The Flight Simulator Technician is responsible for the correct and timely execution of the prescribed maintenance tasks in this Manual and the maintenance manual. The simulator engineers, under supervision of the Maintenance manager, usually carry out the actual performance of maintenance tasks. The Flight Simulator Technician is being appointed by the Maintenance manager to ensure and complete each task.Tasks

Perform standard Simulator support activities.
Perform Site Acceptance Test.
Carry out maintenance, modifications and/or repairs of FSTD in accordance with Regulatory Authority requirements and company standards.
Implement updates and repairs to enhance the performance of the FSTD.
Update maintenance data collection records and assist with equipment installation and check-out modifications.
Apply technical knowledge to solve complex problems by interpreting design drawings, manuals, or simulator documents.
Perform configuration changes to Simulators and FSTD, evaluate and confirm the proper post-change operation.
Monitor Simulator(s) performance and condition to ensure compliance with governmental regulations.

LocationThis job is based at the Avion Flight Training Centre Mumbai, located at Juhu Airport. You must have the right to live and work in India. The job is based on a shift pattern, working 4-on, 4-off, made up of days, nights, and weekends.RequirementsEntry requirementsThe Flight Simulator Technician shall have relevant experience in maintenance tasks on FSTD. Furthermore, the Flight Simulator Technician will receive maintenance training from a maintenance manager or a senior Flight Simulator Technician in accordance with the Training syllabus for Flight Simulator Technicians.
