- Lead, mentor, and manage the Citrix Operations to ensure high performance and professional growth.
- Implement, maintain, and support Citrix environments, including XenApp, XenDesktop, and related infrastructure components.
- Oversee the daily operations of Citrix platforms, including troubleshooting, optimization, and performance tuning.
- Develop and enforce best practices for system configurations, monitoring, and maintenance.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define requirements, design solutions, and implement new technologies or enhancements.
- Manage and optimize licensing, capacity planning, and resource utilization.
- Ensure security, compliance, and disaster recovery readiness for Citrix systems.
- Proactive identify areas for improvement and lead efforts to streamline processes or adopt new technologies.
- Provide timely support and escalations for critical issues, work closely with internal teams and third-party vendors.
- At least 14 years of hands-on experience as a Citrix SME, with deep knowledge of XenApp, XenDesktop, NetScaler/ADC, Citrix Cloud, and Workspace.
- Proven experience in designing, implementing, and managing complex Citrix environments.
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with a history of mentoring and developing team members.
- Expertise in Windows Server, VMWare Hypervisor, vCenter, and associated technology areas: Active Directory, Microsoft Azure, MECM, Java, security models and tooling, identity and access management tooling.
- Solid understanding of network concepts (e.g., load balancing, firewall, VPN) and their interaction with Citrix environment.
- Proficiency in the use of PowerShell scripting and automation tools (e.g., Jenkins). Familiarity with monitoring tools and techniques for Citrix systems.
- Knowledge and experience of using Agile delivery methods and tools to implement both tactical and strategic changes.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills. Work independently and under high pressure.
- Relevant certifications such as CCE-V/CCP-V, ITIL service management are strongly preferred.
- Experience working in large-scale multinational companies, experience of working as part of an Agile or Operations team is a plus.
