- Design and maintain enterprise-grade data models for healthcare domains (claims, payments, denials, encounters, labs, member, provider).
- Translate business and regulatory requirements into logical and physical data models in Snowflake/Databricks.
- Implement schema change automation using Liquibase (Pro/Community), Git-based version control, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Collaborate with data engineers and DBREs to integrate models into automated deployment workflows.
- Define DDL standards, naming conventions, referential integrity rules, and tagging strategies.
- Partner with architecture leadership to ensure models are consistent across domains (RCM, PHM, LIS, Finance).
- Conduct gap analysis against ERP/RCM source systems (Epic, Oracle Cerner, SAP, Meditech, Workday, etc.) and suggest enhancements.
- Provide best practices for versioning, branching, and release management of data models.
- 3+ years of experience in data modeling, ideally with exposure to healthcare data.
- Proficiency in SQL and modeling tools (ER/Studio, ERwin, PowerDesigner, etc.).
- Hands-on experience with Liquibase for schema change management in Snowflake/Databricks/SQL platforms.
- Strong background in CI/CD pipelines (GitLab, Jenkins, Argo CD, or similar) for database deployments.
- Proven ability to work with enterprise RCM/ERP source systems (Epic Resolute, Oracle Cerner, SAP, Workday, Meditech).
- Understanding of healthcare data standards (HL7 FHIR, X12 837/835, ICD-10, CPT/HCPCS).
- Solid grasp of referential integrity, metadata tagging, data lineage, and governance frameworks.
