Key Responsibilities :-1. Customer Service:- Greet and engage with walk-in customers politely and professionally.- Assist them in product selection based on their needs, taste, and occasion.- Provide expert product knowledge (metals, stones, craftsmanship etc.) to help in decision-making.2. Sales:- Encourage upselling (higher-value product) and bundling (suggest matching items like earrings with a necklace).- Actively work to meet or exceed sales targets and maximize conversions.3. POS Handling:- Process bills, returns, and exchanges accurately through the POS (Point-of-Sale) system.- Maintain basic billing accuracy and ensure smooth checkout experience.4. Store Management:Stay updated on store layout, new arrivals, and promotions.- Assist during exhibitions or promotional events when required.5. Relationship Building:- Build long-term customer relationships by offering personalized service.- Follow up with loyal customers for festivals, offers, and product launches.Ideal Candidate Traits :-- Confident and presentable.- Excellent communication & convincing skills.- Comfortable with POS systems and basic tech tools.- Prior experience in retail / jewellery store is a big plus.- Fluent in local language (Gujarati/Hindi) and basic English.
