Structural Detailer

• The candidate should be able to perform the following tasks.
• Complete drawings set up for small to large projects under Senior Engineer’s /Manager’s Guidance.
• Works with and coordinates with architectural and other engineering disciplines for coordination of the project.
• Capable of reading drawings, understanding the properties of steel, wood, concrete, and masonry constructions, as well as welding concepts.
• Detailing knowledge of structural elements and Erection Plans.
• Experience in using AutoCAD and Revit at a proficient level and knowledge of Tekla software.
• Proficient with Revit setups (Template, Work sets, schedules, and families)
• Creating Revit families and updating models according to the latest bulletin.
• Hands-on experience working with BIM 360 and its review process.
• Extracting drawings from the models for documentation and presentation purposes.
• Understanding Design Drawings, 3D Model Drawings.
• Meet Design Criteria, Dimensional requirements.
• Basic understanding or knowledge of structural design calculations.
• Preparing rebar schedules in Revit or AutoCAD.
• Working knowledge of ACI/ASCE/AISC/ NISD codes & standards.
• Comprehensive understanding and drafting/detailing knowledge of floor framing plans, sheathing, floor joists, beams, headers, posts, straps, drags, shear walls, foundation designs, foundation layout, and the distinction between elevated VS slab on grade, girder system, and pad, in accordance with the architectural plans.
• Performing structure detailing to provide accurate and comprehensive drawings for construction.
• Utilizing 3D modeling techniques to create accurate representations of structural components.
• Printing drawings and plans for documentation and distribution.
• An in-depth knowledge of commonly used drafting concepts, practices, and procedures is expected.
• Be able to guide designated teams to achieve the desired results.
• Responsible for completing the projects within the target date with good service quality.
• Excellent Communication: the ability to address client & team queries.

• Engineering Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
• Minimum 3 years of experience (not freelance) in Revit and AutoCAD.
• Proficient in AutoCAD and REVIT
• Proficient in BIM360/ACC.
• Basic understanding of Navisworks and clash detection.
• Ability to work on a team and/or independently.
• Ability to interpret advanced construction documents.
• Ability to produce Construction Drawings
• Structural design experience is a plus.

• Solid expertise with or practical knowledge of detailing and drafting in accordance with standards.
