In This Role, You Will:
- Design and develop customer-centric training content, including instructional videos, microlearning, eLearning, certifications, and Instructor-Led Training (ILT) using proven instructional design methodologies to ensure maximum learning effectiveness.
- Develop high-quality customer-facing training videos (including visuals and effects) that align with our brand and key messages, using content authoring tools such as Camtasia or Adobe Premiere Pro.
- Utilize technical and creative writing skills to write content that will engage course learners.
- Design, develop, test, and evaluate content in consultation with a subject matter expert or facilitator. Self-review and proofread work to ensure content meets high quality standards.
- Create content using eLearning software, such as Articulate 360.
- Collaborate and build strong relationships with colleagues, trainers, subject matter experts, and stakeholders across Cvent.
- Stay informed on instructional design best practices, industry standards, and trends.
- Bachelor’s degree in Instructional Design, Technology, Education, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in instructional design, eLearning development, or related field.
- Knowledge of content authoring tools such as Camtasia, Articulate 360, and Adobe Creative Suite.
- Experience in designing and developing software-related training materials.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously through all design stages.
- Excellent interpersonal, presentation, and verbal and written communication skills.
- Familiarity with learning management systems (LMS) and eLearning standards such as SCORM and xAPI.
- Experience using instructional design models such as ADDIE, SAM, and Kirkpatrick's Model of Evaluation.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite, including PowerPoint, Word, and Excel,
- Creative, inquisitive, and coachable; open to constructive feedback and results oriented.
