- Demonstrate expertise in PROE – 3D modelling, finite element modeling, Simulation, Exploded state rendering, Perspective views, Multi CAD interoperability, computation of forces, structural and fatigue analysis using FEA, computation of structural and fatigue safety factors, bolted joint calculations and suspended mass analysis for component design and optimization. Use knowledge of FEA / FEM to optimize design concepts to facilitate selection of most suitable designs.
- Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing : Define dimensional requirements -Describe the engineering intent of parts and assemblies. Using datum targets: Represent the shape, size, and location of gauge elements on drawings. Convey precise instructions regarding the geometric characteristics of specific features on engineering drawings
- Generate Label artworks using Adobe Illustrator and Bartender software and convert them to design output files in pdf format.
- Create and own Bill of Material for Mechanical components , sub systems and systems in GE Healthcare engineering PLM tool – My Workshop. Own engineering releases and manufacturing release of PNs and design specification along with relevant verifications documents.
- Own ( draft, review and release ) verification plan , procedure , and reports for mechanical parts / components , sub systems including labels. Maintain and update design documents and design history files on a routine basis.
- Mechanical engineering related activities for all product lines of DCAR , including global installed base. Work together with Architects / Lead Engineers and LPI / LSDs / Systems Engineers
2. Good understanding and experience in suspended mass analysis, 3D printing, FMEA, DFM, GD&T, Tolerance analysis, thermals, materials, plastics and infection molding.
3. Demonstrated proficiency in design conceptualization, detail designing, structural analysis, verification and validation of design through engineering calculations and prototype testing.4. Strong oral and written communication skills.Note: This is an experienced role with strict experience requirements.Desired Characteristics1.
