Job Description :- We are urgently hiring a QA & QC Analyst for our seafood (shrimp processing) unit in Nellore. The ideal candidate should have at least 2 years of experience in quality assurance and quality control in the food processing or seafood industry.Key Responsibilities :-1. Raw Material Quality Check:- Monitor and record the quality of all incoming raw materials. Ensure critical parameters (organoleptic properties, residue results, etc.) meet the company's specifications before unloading.2. In-Process Hygiene Monitoring:- Ensure compliance with personal hygiene practices (e.g., use of head caps, masks, gloves, gumboots, frequent hand washing and disinfection) through regular observation and testing.3. Critical Control Points (CCPs):- Observe, document, and ensure all CCPs are within specified limits (e.g., label & packing integrity, metal detector functionality, raw material temperature, antibiotic-free verification, etc.).4. Equipment Sanitation:- Monitor and maintain sanitation clearances for all equipment used in processing- from raw material to finished goods- through physical inspection and necessary testing.5. Training & Awareness:- Conduct regular training sessions on GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices), hygiene and sanitation, and in-process technical standards for staff.Preferred Candidate Profile :-- Bachelor's degree in Food Processing Technology or Fisheries Science (B.F.Sc).- Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in QA/QC in the seafood or food processing industry.- Good knowledge of food safety standards & hygiene protocols.- Strong observation and documentation skills.- Ability to train & manage shop floor personnel.
