This new team will be responsible for working with our business partners across the globe to identify, analyze, extract and secure data thereby allowing application owners to decommission legacy systems and continue to maintain data compliance in a highly regulated environment.The Data Archive Analyst plays a key role within the Systems Archival COE performing a combination of business analysis and project management. The data archive analyst will be the first point of contact for business application owners to work with in identifying, analyzing and planning the archival of their systems data.The Data Archive Analyst will prepare the business case for potential applications. The analyst will define the appropriate requirements and archiving strategy for each application. The data archive analyst will also identify data dependencies, retention requirements which may be drive by regulatory and or contractual needs.The Data Archive Analyst will assist in defining the policy and procedure the Systems Archival COE will use to govern it's processes and interactions with the business application owners and ultimately, the system data to be archived.We seek smart, focused, passionate self-starters who bring energy, new ideas and practical experience to a fast-paced and dynamic team, are obsessed with delivering useful and elegant solutions, and care deeply about their customers and each otherResponsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:You will helping our application owners to identify the information they can archive and the process to archiveYou will help to design the configuration required on InfoArchive in order to meet the data retrieval and compliance requirements of our application ownersYou will work with our application owners to help them build the business case to embark on archiving programsYou will help to grow our knowledge and capability in areas of Information Governance including addressing GDPR and other regulations both in the US and internationally.Assist in developing policy and proceduresIdentify system dependencies that have to be addressed in the decommissioning of a system and archival of it's data.You will provide estimates to the application owner for the archival of system data.You will identify the ongoing access requirements for the archived dataIdeally you will bring experience of delivering solutions using OpenText InfoArchiveKnowledge and experience of Information Modelling and good knowledge of Relational Database Management SystemsKnowledge and experience of Information Lifecycle Management including Retention Management and DispositionMap an InfoArchive structure to source application data for each archived application (one time or ongoing) based on identified requirementsAbility to perform analysis work on existing applications and dataAbility to produce business cases for our application owners to help them progress their information archiving activitiesEducation:BS/BA degree in scientific, business or technology related field.IIBA or PMI certification preferred.Green belt in Lean Six Sigma process improvement preferredRequirements:Active working experience (3-5 years) in a pharmaceutical, healthcare, IT, or relatedPrevious experience in systems decommissioning and data archival preferredSome experience working in a regulated environment preferred.
