- Develop and deliver high-quality lectures, tutorials, and laboratory sessions for undergraduate and postgraduate students in physiology.
- Conduct independent research in the field of physiology and publish scholarly articles in reputable academic journals.
- Provide academic guidance and mentorship to students in the department, including advising on research projects and providing feedback on academic performance.
- Participate in the development of the department's curriculum, including the design of new courses and updating existing courses to reflect current research and industry trends.
- Contribute to the administration of the department, including serving on committees, participating in departmental meetings, and collaborating with colleagues on interdisciplinary projects.
- Engage in professional development activities to stay current with emerging trends and technologies in the field of physiology and education.
- At least 5 years of experience in teaching and research in the field of physiology.
- A strong record of scholarly publications in reputable academic journals.
- Experience in designing and delivering undergraduate and postgraduate courses in physiology.
- Excellent communication skills, including the ability to effectively communicate complex scientific concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
