SAP Quality Engineering Team, part of the IS&T organization, safeguards the performance health of SAP production systems and develops efficient, innovative solutions to ensure the quality and stability of Apple's enterprise software.DescriptionAs part of this team, you will have the opportunity to work on the performance engineering of various software products and technologies across many business segments. You will work with development engineers and functional analysts, understand new innovative software and architecture, and build solutions to evaluate performance and scalability. RESPONSIBILITIES: - Define, develop and apply performance/scalability benchmarks. - Work in multi-functional teams to characterize, debug, and improve system performance and scalability . - Work efficiently with various profiling tools to identify performance bottlenecks and provide root cause analysis. - Devise and conduct experiments to evaluate performance impacts of system changes. - Design and develop a performance test automation framework. - Plan and implement performance tests using an automated testing environment and conduct analysis of results. - Participate in architecture and design reviews of complex solutions in cross-team engineering efforts and own quality perspectives for the design. - Integrate performance tests in a continuous delivery environment and establish a continuous build and test cycle. - Develop performance test engineering principles, test strategies, and standard methodologies.Minimum Qualifications

8 - 14 years of proven hands-on software testing experience.
Solid experience in performance testing of SAP applications.
Experience in testing, fixing & providing tuning recommendations for SAP applications.
Proven understanding of one or more programming languages (e.g., Python, Perl, ABAP, Java, C++).
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering or other relevant major.

Preferred Qualifications

Working knowledge of Agile or Scrum software development methodologies.
Experience in Cloud-based platforms like AWS and GCP
Expertise in performance assessment and optimization of complex applications built on SAP BTP platform.
Good understanding of BTP components like API management (APIM), Cloud Platform Integration (CPI)
Conversational AI (CAI), Data Intelligence (SAP DI) and AWS storage services.
Experience in various software development and test methodologies
Experience in performance testing tools - Loadrunner Enterprise, Apache JMeter, SoapUI, Postman.
Experience in data analysis and visualization, end-to-end performance and root cause analysis.
Experience in service-oriented architecture, and RESTful APIs.
Strong knowledge of performance tuning SQL queries.
Extensive hands-on experience with JVM tuning techniques.
Experience with application performance monitoring tools like Dynatrace, AppDynamics.
Efficiently work with various profiling tools to identify performance bottlenecks.
Knowledge of Database Management Systems such as Oracle, SAP HANA. Exhibit creativity and a willingness to explore new technologies.
Certifications like AWS Solutions Architect and GCP Associate Cloud Engineer is a plus.
Demonstrate excellent verbal and written communications skills.
Skilled in BTP technologies like Smart Data Integration(SDI) & Hana Sidecar.
Solid experience in performance testing and analysis of SCP iOS SDK mobile apps.
Proficient in application & DB performance monitoring in SAP BTP using Kibana, HANA DB cockpit and SAP BTP cockpit.
Solid understanding of relational database systems as well as in-memory databases.
