- Take full ownership and lead the end-to-end keyword strategy across all target verticals and product families. Dive deep into hands-on keyword research, analyze search intent, benchmark against competitors, and identify content gaps to craft and continuously enhance Civicaâs organic search architecture.
- Drive Civicaâs Generative Engine Optimisation strategy from the front, playing a hands-on role in boosting our visibility within AI-generated answers, large language model discovery platforms, and innovative generative search experiences. Establish and champion best practices as this exciting field evolves.
- Strategically plan, create, and manage paid search campaigns with precision, directly handling PPC operations with a performance-focused mindset tailored to budget constraints. Take full responsibility for keyword selection, bid adjustments, compelling ad copy, quality scoring, and insightful performance reporting.
- Lead technical SEO audits in collaboration with the Web and Performance Marketing Manager and relevant teams, proactively identifying, prioritizing, and resolving technical hurdles impacting crawlability, site speed, indexation, and structured data across our web presence.
- Work hand-in-hand with Content and Product Marketing Management teams to scale SEO initiativesâcrafting clear content briefs, reviewing outputs for optimal search performance, and ensuring every new page is built with targeted keywords and user search intent at its heart.
- Monitor, analyze, and report on organic search trends, keyword rankings, paid search outcomes, and pipeline attribution with a keen eye for insights. Deliver regular, data-driven reports to the Director of Marketing Channels to fuel continuous optimization across all search efforts.
- Stay at the forefront of developments in traditional search, AI-enhanced search, and GEO best practices. Convert the latest trends into actionable strategies that keep Civicaâs search visibility strong and growing in a rapidly evolving landscape.
- Partner closely with the Web and Performance Marketing Manager to seamlessly integrate paid and organic search strategies, leveraging shared keyword insights, optimizing landing page performance, and coordinating comprehensive reporting to showcase total search impact on pipeline growth.
- Deep, hands-on SEO expertise spanning keyword strategy, technical SEO, on-page optimisation, and link building, with a demonstrable track record of improving organic search visibility and pipeline contribution in a B2B technology environment.
- Active, hands-on knowledge of Generative Engine Optimisation and LLM visibility, with practical experience or a clear, evidence-based approach to improving brand presence within AI-generated search experiences and the ability to build this capability internally from the ground up.
- Hands-on proficiency with SEO and PPC tooling including Semrush, Ahrefs, Google Search Console, and Google Ads, with the ability to operate these platforms independently, extract meaningful insight, and translate data into clear optimisation decisions.
- Proven ability to collaborate effectively with content, web, and PMM teams, briefing requirements clearly, influencing without authority, and ensuring that search strategy is embedded across the content and web production process rather than applied retrospectively.
- Commercially oriented, with the ability to connect keyword strategy and search performance to pipeline metrics, articulate the business value of search investment to senior stakeholders, and operate PPC spend with rigorous efficiency discipline within a constrained budget.
- Intellectually curious and self-directed, with the drive to stay ahead of a rapidly evolving search landscape, bring well-reasoned recommendations to the team, and build genuine internal authority in both established and emerging search disciplines.
