- Identify and prospect potential clients within the transportation industry, including manufacturers, retailers, distributors, and other businesses requiring transportation services.
- Develop and implement sales strategies to penetrate new markets and expand our customer base.
- Conduct market research to identify emerging trends, customer needs, and competitor activities to stay ahead in the market.
- Build and maintain a robust sales pipeline to meet and exceed sales targets.
- Prepare comprehensive proposals and presentations outlining our transportation solutions, pricing structures, and value propositions to prospective clients.
- Negotiate contracts, terms, and pricing agreements with clients to ensure mutually beneficial outcomes.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including operations, finance, and legal, to develop customized solutions that align with client needs and company capabilities.
- Track sales activities, pipeline progress, and performance metrics using CRM software or other sales tracking tools.
- Generate regular reports summarizing sales performance, key achievements, challenges, and opportunities for improvement.
- Analyze sales data and market trends to identify areas for optimization and strategic decision-making.
