This role presents an exciting opportunity to contribute to innovative projects and be a key player in shaping our technological advancements.The opportunityWe are seeking an experienced Associate Director specializing in Emerging Technologies such as AI, Edge Computing, and Meta Platforms to lead our innovative team. This role offers an exciting opportunity for seasoned professionals with 17-22 years of experience to drive the development and implementation of cutting-edge solutions, leveraging AI, edge computing, and meta platforms to drive business transformation and innovation.Your key responsibilities
  • Lead the strategic planning and execution of emerging technology initiatives, including AI, edge computing, meta platforms, and immersive technologies.
  • Drive the development and implementation of AI-driven solutions, leveraging machine learning, deep learning, natural language processing, and computer vision technologies.
  • Architect and manage edge computing solutions, enabling real-time data processing, low-latency analytics, and decentralized computing capabilities.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including data scientists, software engineers, product managers, and business stakeholders, to identify business opportunities and deliver innovative solutions.
  • Define and implement strategies for leveraging meta platforms, virtual reality (VR), augmented reality (AR), and mixed reality (MR) technologies to enhance customer experiences and drive business growth.
  • Lead the evaluation and adoption of emerging technologies, tools, and frameworks, ensuring alignment with business goals, technical requirements, and industry best practices.
  • Drive the development and implementation of scalable and secure cloud-native solutions, leveraging cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, and Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
  • Provide technical leadership, mentorship, and guidance to technical teams, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous learning.
  • Monitor industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitive landscape, providing insights and recommendations to senior leadership for strategic decision-making.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, data privacy, and security standards, implementing best practices for data governance, risk management, and cybersecurity.
  • Drive thought leadership initiatives, represent the organization at industry events, conferences, and forums, and contribute to the development of intellectual property, patents, and publications.
Soft Skills
  • PhD, master's degree in computer science, engineering, or related field.
  • 17-22 years of experience in technology leadership, with a focus on emerging technologies such as AI, edge computing, and meta platforms.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to effectively communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

To qualify for the role, you must have
  • A PhD or master's degree in computer science, engineering, or related field.
  • 17-22 years of experience in technology leadership, with a focus on emerging technologies such as AI, edge computing, and meta platforms.
  • Strong communication skills and a proactive approach to learning and development are essential for success in this role.
Ideally, you'll also have
  • Experience with meta platforms, virtual reality (VR), augmented reality (AR), and mixed reality (MR) technologies.
  • Certification or training in AI, machine learning, deep learning, natural language processing, or computer vision.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, Google Cloud Platform (GCP), and edge computing frameworks.
  • Experience in driving digital transformation initiatives, technology adoption, and innovation strategies.
  • Strong network and relationships within the technology industry, academia, and research communities.
