- Provide guidance and on the job training for junior colleagues and conduct knowledge sharing to facilitate achievement of team objectives and completion of tasks in a timely and efficient manner
- Promote the organization's core values and ethics in all activities within the team & wider organization to support the establishment of a value driven culture within the bank.
- Participate in the identification of opportunities for continuous improvement and sustainability of systems, processes and practices considering global standards, productivity improvement and cost reduction.
- Prepare sectional statements and reports timely and accurately to meet Business and/or department requirements, policies and quality standards.
- Produce reports that would support the cost movements in general and administrative (G&A) expenses; gather data from multiple departments and systems, provide insight & analysis by preparing customized reports
- Ensure reports are generated and completed on timely basis
- Send monthly enablement cost packs such as but not limited to the following:
- Group cost, Head Office and Enablement flash reports
- One-time expenditures or cost initiatives
- Cost savings driven by various LOBs
- Periodic variance cost analysis
- Other relevant cost packs
- Provide cover for other members of the team when required
- Must have bachelor's degree.
- Desirable: - Chartered Accountant/ master's in business administration (MBA) or any other relevant finance degree or diploma.
- Excellent Data manipulation skills in Advanced Excel
- Microsoft Office skills (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- 5 years relevant experience in similar function
