The ideal candidate will have extensive experience architecting scalable, resilient & secured Data & AI solutions and working with cloud-native technologies in high-volume environments.Key Responsibilities:Design and architect integration patterns for multi-tenant data and AI platform with IAM and API Gateway solutionsBuild scalable, resilient data architectures leveraging AWS cloud services (AWS cloud ismandatory; other hyperscalar like Azure, Google will be an added advantage)Develop technical architecture specifications for Python & Java based microservicesAbility to break a complex architecture in smaller chunks which can be delivered iteratively keeping the focus on long term visionDesign data lake, data warehouse and lakehouse solutions with optimized query capabilitiesEstablish ETL/ELT pipelines for efficient data processingBuild and implement metadata management strategiesDevelop reference architectures and design patterns for complex systems (e.g. timeseriesdata processing)Build rapid proof-of-concept solutions to validate architectural decisionsCollaborate with multi-functional teams to ensure seamless integrationGuide and mentor development teams on architectural standard methodologies and technology adoptionConduct architectural reviews, technical design discussions, and code/design reviewsRequired Skills & Experience :15-25 years of technology experience with at least 8+ years in architect rolesProven experience designing high-scale, resilient and secured data platforms & big data technologies handling massive volumes of data and API callsDeep expertise with AWS cloud services, particularly in data processing (S3, Athena, Glue, EMR) and AI services (sagemaker, bedrock etc.)Lead the design, development, and governance of our technology architectureStrong background in Java microservice architecture patterns and standard processesExperience integrating with enterprise IAM solutions and API gatewaysHands-on knowledge of data lake, data warehouse or lakehouse design, implementation andoptimizationExperience with ETL/ELT tools and methodologiesProficiency in crafting metadata management systemsStrong background in building complex systems (e.g. timeseries data processing and storage)Ability to rapidly prototype solutions and validate architectural conceptsPreferred Qualifications:Python & Java programming experience; Go lang will be an added advantageAWS certification (Associate/Professional Architect)Knowledge of Retrieval Augmented Generation (RAG) and agentic AI systemsExperience with GenAI technologies and integration patternsFamiliarity with ML Ops practicesExperience with real-time data processing frameworksCloud architecture certifications (AWS Solutions Architect or similar)Familiarity with security best practices, such as zero-trust architecture and secure API design,TOGAF etc.Education: Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, BigData, AI/ML,Data Engineering or a related field.This position does not include people management responsibilities, allowing you to focus on technical excellence and architectural innovation.We are an equal opportunity employer and value diversity at our company.
