Job Description:Job SummaryValueMentor is a global Digital Trust and Cybersecurity Assurance firm helping organizations build secure, compliant, and resilient digital ecosystems across the United States, Middle East, Europe, and Asia.As the organization scales toward ₹500 Cr revenue, we are seeking a Finance Director to establish and lead a robust financial framework that supports global growth, operational efficiency, and strategic decision-making.The Finance Director will work closely with the CEO and leadership team to design and implement scalable financial systems, drive financial planning and governance, and build consolidated financial reporting across multiple entities. This role combines strategic finance leadership, systems implementation, financial governance, and operational finance management.The position is expected to evolve into the Group CFO role as the organization grows and prepares for future capital events.Key Responsibilities, Deliverables / Outcomes1. Financial Leadership
  • Partner with the CEO and leadership team to drive financial strategy and long-term growth planning.
  • Lead the organization’s budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes.
  • Develop financial models and business projections to support strategic decisions.
  • Provide leadership with financial insights to support informed decision-making.
2. Group Financial Consolidation
  • Establish consolidated financial reporting across domestic and international subsidiaries.
  • Standardize chart of accounts, financial reporting structures, and accounting practices across the organization.
  • Ensure accurate, transparent, and timely financial reporting across global operations.
3. Finance Systems Implementation
  • Lead the implementation and optimization of finance systems including ERP and financial reporting tools.
  • Design automated financial dashboards and reporting mechanisms for leadership visibility.
  • Improve financial data accuracy and reporting efficiency through system-driven processes.
4. Profitability & Performance Management
  • Develop reporting frameworks for project margins, service line profitability, and revenue performance.
  • Establish financial KPIs to measure operational efficiency and business performance.
  • Provide financial insights to support cost optimization and revenue growth.
5. Strategic Finance
  • Support evaluation of inorganic growth opportunities including acquisitions and partnerships.
  • Conduct financial modelling, due diligence, and scenario analysis for strategic initiatives.
  • Build financial governance structures aligned with investment readiness and potential IPO preparation.
6. Financial Operations & Compliance
  • Oversee accounting, audit, taxation, treasury, and regulatory compliance across the organization.
  • Ensure adherence to financial regulations and statutory requirements across jurisdictions.
  • Manage relationships with auditors, consultants, financial institutions, and regulatory bodies.
