- Collaborating with the marketing team to develop content strategies and campaigns that align with business goals.
- Editing and proofreading content to ensure quality, consistency, and adherence to brand guidelines.
- Optimising content for SEO and incorporating relevant keywords to improve search engine visibility.
- Staying updated on industry trends and incorporating fresh ideas and approaches into content creation.
- Creating compelling headlines, taglines, and calls to action to attract and engage target audiences.
- Managing content calendars and deadlines to ensure timely delivery of content.
- Assisting in the development and implementation of content marketing initiatives.
- Contributing to brainstorming sessions and content ideation meetings.
- A Bachelor's degree in English, Journalism, Communications, Marketing, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Content Writer or similar role with at least one year of experience is a plus.
- Exceptional writing and grammar skills.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently.
- Basic understanding of SEO principles and content optimization techniques.
- Excellent research skills and the ability to gather information from diverse sources.
- Eagerness to learn and grow in a fast-paced environment.
- Creativity and the ability to think outside the box.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and content management systems (CMS) is a plus.
- A portfolio of writing samples or relevant coursework is highly desirable.
