Job Title: Business Development (BD) / Account Management (AM)Location: MumbaiExperience Required: 2-4 YearsIndustry: IT Services / Testing-as-a-ServiceNotice Period: Immediate Joiners PreferredRole Overview:We are looking for dynamic and result-oriented professionals for our Business Development and Account Management teams. The ideal candidates should have prior experience in the IT Services or QA/Testing industry and be passionate about driving growth and building strong client relationships.Key Responsibilities:For Business Development (BD):- Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the IT services and testing domain.- Generate qualified leads through outbound efforts (cold calling, email campaigns, LinkedIn, networking events).- Work with internal stakeholders (pre-sales, delivery, leadership) to create winning proposals.- Pitch tailored solutions to mid-sized and enterprise clients across sectors like BFSI, Healthcare, Retail, etc.- Own the sales cycle from prospecting to deal closure.- Meet or exceed monthly/quarterly revenue and pipeline generation targets.For Account Management (AM):- Manage existing client accounts and ensure consistent service delivery and satisfaction.- Serve as the main point of contact for clients-handle escalations, feedback, and renewals.- Identify up-sell and cross-sell opportunities within existing accounts.- Coordinate with delivery and technical teams to ensure SLAs are met.- Track account health, revenue contribution, and customer retention metrics.- Build long-term relationships and position the company as a strategic partner.Key Requirements:- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (MBA is a plus).- 2-4 years of relevant experience in BD or AM roles within IT Services / QA or Testing Services industry.- Strong understanding of software development lifecycle, QA services, and outsourcing models.- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.- Proactive, self-driven, and goal-oriented.- Ability to work in a fast-paced and target-driven environment.Preferred:- Prior experience in managing B2B SaaS or QA/Testing accounts.- Existing network or familiarity with the Mumbai IT ecosystem.- Exposure to CRM tools like Salesforce, HubSpot, Zoho, etc. (ref:updazz.com)
