Job Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Manager with strong expertise in the solar industry to drive business growth across South India. The ideal candidate will have a solid technical foundation in solar PV systems along with proven sales leadership capabilities.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales & Business DevelopmentDrive regional sales targets and revenue growth across South India.Build and manage a strong sales pipeline; ensure timely deal closures for large-scale solar projects.Identify new business opportunities with EPCs, IPPs, developers, and consultants.
Client Relationship ManagementDevelop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders across the solar ecosystem.Expand network with leading EPCs, developers, and industry consultants in the region.
Market & Industry ExpertiseMonitor and analyze market trends, competitor activities, and regulatory developments.Leverage in-depth understanding of the South India solar market to strategize growth initiatives.
Technical & Commercial EngagementProvide technical consultation on solar PV systems, string inverters, grid compliance, and power electronics.Lead commercial discussions including pricing strategies, contract negotiations, and tender participation.
Team LeadershipLead, mentor, and manage the regional sales team to achieve business objectives.Foster a high-performance, collaborative sales culture.
Reporting & AnalyticsTrack sales performance, generate reports, and provide insights using CRM tools and dashboards.Utilize data-driven insights to refine sales strategies.
. Requirements
4–10 years of experience in the solar industry (mandatory).
Strong technical knowledge of:Solar PV systemsString invertersGrid compliancePower electronics
Proven track record in achieving and exceeding sales targets.
Strong network with EPCs, IPPs, and solar developers in South India.
Excellent commercial acumen including pricing, tenders, and negotiations.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
