- The vetting process for this role comprises 2-3 rounds of interviews and may be followed by a brief assignment.
- This is an on-site, full-time position based in Mumbai.
- Salary band for this role is available upon request.
- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, Journalism, Media Studies, or a related field.
- A postgraduate degree or diploma in Marketing, Mass Communication, or Brand Management is preferred but not mandatory.
- Additional certifications in digital marketing, content strategy, or public relations (e.g., Google, Meta, HubSpot, etc.) will be an advantage.
- 4–7 years of experience in PR, marketing, or communications (preferably in media, culture, events, or creative industries).
- Experience working on events, festivals, or conferences is highly preferred.
- Strong media network and proven track record of securing coverage.
- Excellent writing and storytelling skills.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to work independently with little or no daily supervision.
- An effective team worker who shows initiative and takes ownership of the role.
- Strong interpersonal skills and willingness to communicate with clients, colleagues, and management.
- Problem-solving mindset with a hands-on approach to troubleshooting.
- Good time management skills, including prioritizing, scheduling, and adapting as necessary.
- Passion for arts and culture – experience and understanding of cultural festivals is a big plus.
