Job Description: Manager - EGS & EHS Company: Rite Water Solutions Location: Nagpur Experience:- 8-10 years minimum CTC :- 7 -10 Lacs A combined role as an ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) and EHS (Environment, Health, and Safety) Manager would involve overseeing and managing the organization's initiatives related to both areas. Role: ESG and EHS Manager Responsibilities: 1. ESG Strategy Development: Develop and implement the organization's ESG strategy, aligning it with the company's overall business goals and objectives. Identify ESG issues, set targets, and develop action plans to address them. 2. ESG Reporting and Disclosure: Collect, analyze, and report data on the organization's ESG performance. Prepare reports and disclosures for internal and external stakeholders, ensuring compliance with relevant reporting frameworks, such as GRI or SASB. 3. Stakeholder Engagement: Engage with stakeholders, including employees, investors, customers, communities, and regulators, to understand their expectations and concerns regarding ESG matters. Build relationships, address inquiries, and collaborate on ESG initiatives. 4. ESG Risk Assessment: Identify and assess ESG risks and opportunities that could impact the organization's operations, reputation, and long-term sustainability. Conduct risk assessments, implement risk mitigation strategies, and integrate ESG considerations into the overall risk management framework. 5. EHS Compliance: Ensure compliance with applicable environmental, health, and safety regulations and standards. Stay updated on relevant laws, assess compliance gaps, and develop and implement programs to address them. 6. EHS Management Systems: Establish and maintain effective EHS management systems to manage environmental impacts, occupational health, and safety hazards. Develop and implement policies, procedures, and training programs to ensure EHS compliance and continuous improvement. 7. Incident Management: Oversee the investigation and reporting of environmental incidents, accidents, and near misses. Implement corrective and preventive actions and monitor incident trends to minimize future occurrences. 8. EHS Training and Awareness: Develop and deliver EHS training programs to promote awareness and build knowledge among employees. Ensure employees are informed about EHS policies, procedures, and best practices. 9. EHS Performance Monitoring: Monitor and track the organization's EHS performance using key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics. Conduct audits, inspections, and performance assessments to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions. 10. EHS Culture and Engagement: Foster a positive EHS culture within the organization by promoting employee engagement, participation, and accountability in EHS initiatives. Encourage open communication and collaboration regarding EHS matters. Qualifications: Bachelor's or Master's degree in environmental science, sustainability, occupational health and safety, or a related field. In-depth knowledge of ESG frameworks and reporting standards (e.g., GRI, SASB) and EHS regulations and best practices. Strong understanding of environmental management systems, occupational health and safety practices, and risk assessment methodologies. Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills. Experience in developing and implementing ESG and EHS programs within a corporate setting. Ability to lead and manage cross-functional teams and drive change within an organization. Proficient in data analysis and reporting, and familiarity with ESG and EHS software tools and platforms.
