  • Ensure Hydrogen compression & Purification skid are operated safely and properly.
  • Operate the hydrogen compressor, filling and storage equipments as per procedures specified by the equipment manufacturer and statutory requirements.
  • Have to work in rotational shift ( 8 hour shifts).
  • Monitor Key Process parameters and optimize to achieve maximum efficiency.
  • Record and compile operational data and maintain process logs.
  • Follow Standard Operating procedures for start-up and shutdown of the compression system
  • Prepare daily report and circulate about the compressor plant & facility.
  • Perform regular check of the different components and safety features used in the machine.
  • Plan maintenance schedule for compressor and auxiliary equipments and coordinate with suppliers/vendor to schedule and execute activities.
  • Address any unscheduled maintainance and repair and escalate issues to supervisor for timely recovery of the compressor plant.
  • Respond to problems by adjusting control room equipment or instructing other personnel to adjust equipment at problem locations.
  • Clean machinery or equipment and should do minor repairs on equipment, using handtools.
  • Maintain the requirements of consumables and Co-ordinate with inventory team and ensure the availability of the materials.
Skills Required:
  • Diploma/ITI with minimum 4-6 years of experience.
  • Prior experience with operating compressor plant espically Hydrogen or flammable gas is must.
  • Prior work experience of using SCADA, PLC control environment.
  • Knowledge of OSHA regulations and safety measures for hydrogen compressors, such as leak testing, valve checks, and corrosion checks etc.
  • Demonstrated ability to use small hand and power tools.
  • Basic understanding of work safety and using PPE’s is essential skill.
  • Basic knowledge on MS-office and outlook.
