- The Rockstar Games NOC team monitors our games' enterprise and online infrastructures.
- We surveil multiple networks and systems across several Information Technology (IT) environments.
- We handle complex technical problems and are in constant communication with staff at all levels to ensure notification and resolution.
- Support 24x7 coverage in rotational shifts, recording and reacting to system events as per procedures.
- Investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve network and infrastructure issues via pre-defined runbooks, bringing up to Engineering staff as needed.
- Resolve incident severity and criticality, taking actions to restore service and adhering to communications structure.
- Serve as central point for health status updates, moderating technical bridges and performing root cause analysis for corrective actions.
- Protect players' experience by applying initiative and good judgment, adhering to incident management tools.
- Analyze system events for metrics collection, archiving, and process improvement with team leads.
- Lead and perform duties as assigned, including playing GTA Online/RDR Online to support development.
- Offer documentation recommendations, update runbooks, and ensure continuous process improvement.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent experience including 2+ years in Information Technology Services and/or 24x7 NOC role.
- Familiarity with SDLC, bug tracking, and servicing requests in multi-team environments, with strong troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to work independently, with issue resolution skills, and a passion for accuracy and timeliness.
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with detailed understanding of monitoring and reporting tools.
- Good knowledge of TCP/IP networks, computer operating systems, databases, network topology and incident management.
- Adaptable and flexible, able to quickly adjust to changing priorities and new challenges.
- Experience on Excel, Visual Basic Instinct, Power BI skills to work on data management and dashboards creation.
- Experience in supporting large online / cloud environments.
- Hands-on experience in Windows/Linux server configuration, administration, and/or monitoring.
- Familiar with monitoring and support tools such as: Grafana, Solar Winds, Influx DB, Check_MK, AppDynamics, Splunk, and New Relic.
- Knowledge of networking concepts.
