The objective of the Power Apps developer role is automating the data integration process for design and implementation of Power BI dashboards. Duties and Responsibilities: Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand their needs and translate them into functional Power Apps solutions to automate data integration for Power BI reporting. Utilize Power Apps features like formulas, data connections, controls, and integrations with other Microsoft Power Platform services (Flow, Power Automate, Power BI). Integrate data from Excel spreadsheets and various other data sources (e.g., SharePoint, SQL Server, Dynamics 365) using Power Apps connectors and custom connectors (if necessary). Develop robust data flows and transformations to prepare data for visualization in Power BI dashboards. Automate entire reporting process. Qualification & Experience: 2 -5 Years of experience in Power apps, Power BI , SQL, DAX Technical and Functional Skills: Proven experience in developing Power Apps (canvas apps and/or model-driven apps). Strong understanding of Power Apps concepts like formulas, data connections, controls, and user interface design. Experience integrating data from various sources (including Excel) using Power Apps connectors. Experience building data flows and transformations within Power Apps. Soft Skills: Excellent communication (Oral and written). Able to articulate and comprehend requirements. Attention to detail. Thorough in quality checking Logical thinking and inquisitive in learning new concepts. Aware of industry updates - both within business domain and technology. Good analytical and problem-solving skills. A self-motivated, logical and organised approach. Good demeanour, polite and assertive while speaking both internal and external customers. Business skills: Understanding of Insurance industry. Commercial Insurance (Desirable) Understanding of business requirements when it comes to KPIs and metrics.
