- Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve and exceed sales targets within the dairy industry.
- Identify and analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to identify new business opportunities.
- Forecast sales and provide accurate sales reports to senior management.
- Business Development & Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers at dairy processing plants, farms, cooperatives, and other relevant organizations.
- Identify and cultivate new business opportunities through networking, cold calling, and industry events.
- Conduct effective presentations and product demonstrations to potential clients.
- Sales Process Management:
- Manage the entire sales cycle from lead generation1 to contract negotiation and closing.
- Prepare and deliver compelling proposals and quotations.
- Ensure timely and accurate order processing and customer service.
- Utilize CRM systems to track sales activities and manage customer relationships.
- Product Knowledge & Industry Expertise:
- Maintain a comprehensive understanding of our product portfolio and its applications within the dairy industry.
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends, regulations, and technological advancements.
- Provide technical support and product training to clients as needed.
- Collaboration & Teamwork:
- Collaborate with internal teams, including marketing, product development, and customer service, to ensure seamless customer2 experience.
- Provide feedback and insights to product development teams to improve product offerings.
- Mentor and train junior sales team members (if applicable).
- Market Analysis and Reporting:
- Analyze market data to identify opportunities and threats.
- Generate regular sales reports and present findings to senior management.
