- Support Strategic Initiatives
- Support and manage bank-wide strategic initiatives as Project Manager.
- Prepare dashboards, insights, and scenario analysis for senior management decisions.
- Develop high-quality PowerPoint presentations and executive summaries for EXCO and senior management.
- Track progress of strategic, regulatory, and system development projects.
- Assist in preparing materials for Head Office, Regional Planning Office, and internal reviews.
- Support execution of annual/quarterly strategic plans and performance reviews.
- Support in formulating business models and bank-wide business plans in coordination with Tokyo and Regional Head Office.
- Identify process efficiency improvement opportunities and implement solutions using digital tools.
- Provide Executive Assistant support to the Country Head, including meeting coordination, stakeholder follow‑ups and action item tracking.
- Coordinate senior management meetings: prepare agendas, collate pre-read materials, take minutes, and track action items.
- Draft precise EXCO minutes for regulatory submission.
- Collate presentation decks from functional heads (for example CRO, CCO, COO) for senior management reviews.
- Extract and track action items for subsequent board meetings.
- Prepare briefing notes and governance documents.
- Support identifying the bottleneck of each open issue, assessing its risk and potential expense & resource required for remediation, and set priorities, by coordinating with the relevant stakeholders.
- Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Act as role model and uphold MUFG values and governance culture.
- Support senior management with structured communication and briefing documents.
- Assist in knowledge sharing and process optimization within SPD.
- Serve as trusted advisor to Pan-India branches and business units.
- Active Listening and Synthesis: Ability to listen to complex financial and risk‑related debates and synthesize them into concise, neutral, and accurate summaries.
- Ability to record sensitive discussions (including conflicts of interest) without bias.
- Ensure confidentiality, compliance and accurate audit trails for all documentation.
- Manage calendars, business travel, events and administrative support activities by providing support to the Executive Assistant to Country Head.
- Report risks and opportunities to Head of REO & SPD with recommendations.
- Maintain good working knowledge of industry trends, products, and regulations.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or Engineering (Master’s degree preferred).
- 5-10 years of work experience in Strategic planning, business analysis, MIS, consulting or EA roles.
- Excellent communication, summarization and writing skills.
- Banking domain knowledge preferred.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft (MS) Office 365 product suite like for e.g. MS Excel (Pivot tables, vlookup/hlookup, dashboards, financial modelling basics) and MS PowerPoint and presentation building skills.
