GWS SpecialistThe McDonalds Global Workforce Solutions (GWS) Team is an internally managed contingent workforce program responsible for the compliance of our related policies as well as our end-to-end vendor management system. We are McDonalds customer-obsessed, single point of contact for any contingent workforce need. Our vision is to be recognized as a valued business partner & world-class program, focused on excellence in our people, services, and execution. This is an amazing opportunity for an individual to gain a broad perspective of McDonald's and the Global Business Services function.As a GWS Specialist, you will be primarily responsible for the execution of all contractors on/offboarding activities related to our contingent labor program. Your role will ensure that these tasks are processed timely, accurately, and efficiently by partnering with our GWS Managers, key stakeholders, and approved vendors. Customer communication and exceptional customer service are key components of this role. The pace can be fast, and this role requires someone who is driven, sweats the details and can adapt quickly to changing priorities.Responsibilities:
  • Manage all contractor on/offboarding workflows within our Vendor Management System (VMS) or subprocesses to action GWS steps in a timely fashion. This can include interview scheduling, start date activities, equipment provisioning, and network account or badge provisioning.
  • Ensure non-GWS workflow steps are tracked and followed-up on to remove approval bottlenecks withing the VMS.
  • Train and support vendors in VMS usage (invoicing, resource management tasks, and reporting).
  • Troubleshoot contractor network or building access issues to remedy or escalate to the appropriate support partners.
  • Executes consultant conversion process, Data Subject Rights (DSR) requests, and California Pay Data requests.
  • Facilitate team distribution of issues coming into our general inbox. Manages all first level support questions.
  • Partner closely with the GWS Managers to support all shared workstreams, vendors, or engagement managers.
  • Approach processes with a continuous improvement mindset to simplify or enhance our program experience.
  • Participate in special projects or key team priorities as needed.
Qualifications:
  • 2-3 years experience in resource on/off-boarding, HR coordination or contractor lifecycle management.
  • Strong attention to detail and proven ability to achieve results in a fast-paced environment while being sensitive to deadlines.
  • Demonstrated ability in managing high volumes of start/end dates, access requests, and required documentation.
  • Familiarity with identity access management and compliance requirements.
  • Proficiency with HRIS or VMS platforms (e.g. SAP Fieldglass, Beeline, etc).
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills. Comfort interacting within all levels of an organization and ability to adapt communication style as needed.
