Job Summary: We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable individual to join our Aviation Management department. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching undergraduate, conducting applied research, and contributing to the continuous improvement of the aviation management program. Key Responsibilities: - Teach courses in aviation management and related fields at the undergraduate level. - Develop and update course materials based on current industry trends and standards. - Conduct scholarly research in aviation management and publish findings in reputable journals. - Supervise and mentor students in their academic and research projects. - Engage with industry professionals to bridge the gap between academic learning and practical application. - Participate in curriculum development and program review to ensure the relevance and rigor of the aviation management program. - Serve on departmental, and college committees as required. - Assist in the accreditation processes and ensure compliance with industry standards. - Facilitate internships, co-op experiences, and job placements for students. Qualifications: - Proven experience in teaching and research in higher education. - Professional experience in the aviation industry is highly desirable. - Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills. - Commitment to student success and continuous improvement in an academic setting.
