Develop and manage design delivery schedules in line with project timelines. Ensure technical compliance and design assurance through reviews, audits, and stakeholder approvals. Coordinate with clients, contractors, authorities, and internal stakeholders. Support in client presentations, technical submissions, and approvals. Ensure designs are reviewed and checked before issue. Implement quality control processes and participate in design audits. Provide technical guidance on MEPF design aspects including HVAC, power supply, lighting, fire protection, plumbing, earthing, and related rail-specific systems (e.g., tunnel ventilation, traction power interfaces). Ensure adherence to relevant codes (e.g., NBC, IEC, BS, EN, IS), client standards. Supervise and mentor junior engineers and designers within the MEPF team. Foster a collaborative and proactive design culture: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical / Electrical Engineering (Master's degree preferred). 12-20 years of experience in MEP design management, with at least 5 years in rail/metro/infrastructure projects. Proven experience in managing multi-disciplinary MEPF design for large-scale rail or infrastructure projects. Familiar with design software such as Revit MEP, AutoCAD, Navisworks, and relevant analysis tools. PMP / PRINCE2 certification Chartered Engineer (CEng or equivalent) BIM certification Design manager/Engineering Manager (Design) Strong technical knowledge of MEPF systems in rail infrastructure (stations, tunnels, depots, etc.) Excellent leadership, coordination, and communication skills. Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities. Familiarity with BIM processes and digital design environments.
