He should have knowledge and proficiency in reviewing day to day functioning of the GST department to comply with all law requirements.
Should be conversant with formalities/ law requirements for sending the goods under export.
To verify and approve various statutory return (monthly, quarterly and yearly returns) data and details to file GSTR-1, GSTR-2, GSTR-3, GSTR-4 , GSTR-9, GSTR-9C etc.
Closely co-ordinate/ discuss with the legal counsel for different law points i.e. interpretation of the new law amendments, judicial pronouncements etc. to take the benefit of the same.
Should have experience handling GST department audit, internal and statutory audits for GST related information.
Should have experience of making submissions for various representations like query reply from GST department, Commissioner appeals, CESTAT appeals etc.
To make monthly, quarterly and annual reconciliation of GST data with financial records
Should have experience of complying with various formalities of sending goods for job-work, direct delivery of goods to job-worker place, requirements for registered additional places of business etc.
Should be conversant with all recent amendments on reverse charge mechanism, various changes in rates and concessions given by GST law.
Should have experience of compiling various data information required for statutory audits i.e. contingent liabilities, pending legal cases status, pending company claims etc.
