Position DescriptionBusiness Division: AgChem Brands OperationsDepartment: MechanicalLocation: Panoli-02Position Title: Supervisor MaintenanceLevel: Junior StaffReporting To: Site Engineering HeadPosition PurposeThe Position is overall responsible to plan, execute and perform mechanical maintenance activities safely whilemeeting all statutory and organizational requirements within budgeted costs and time. Helping AssistantManager/Manager - Maintenance of respective areas. Perform equal to business and organizationalrequirements.Strategic ResponsibilitiesAssisting reporting Manager in maximising equipment availability by minimising breakdowns.Preventive and Breakdown maintenance of different plant equipment's.Assisting reporting Manager in manpower utilization related to maintenance.Operational ResponsibilitiesSystem management related to plant maintenance:1. Ensure availability of Critical spares parts/consumables for shift operation.2. Quick response to attend breakdown jobs during shift duty.3. To ensure good housekeeping during and after completion of maintenance activity.4. Cause identification for breakdown occurred during shift.5. To improve maintenance practices during shift.6. To improve quality of jobs as first time right.7. Execution of product changes over work during shift in all plants8 Follow safety systems like work permit and PPE's etc.Financial Responsibilities

Cost saving initiation by Vendor development & recycle / reconditioning of valuable items from scrap.
Implement the cost saving measures in the maintenance function.

People Responsibilities

Education QualificationDiploma in Mechanical EngineeringWork Experience04 - 07 yearsIndustry to be Hired fromChemical processed based industry like Agrochemicals, Pharmaceuticals, Fine / Specialty ChemicalsFunctional Competencies

Ability to handle day to day maintenance and operation of Instrumentation maintenance with the help of engineers
Good analytical skill and system approach to analyze the problems
Ability to carry out corrective action after analysing frequent breakdowns in plant equipment
Exposure in Handling of MSGL equipment, RVD, ANF and pumps with Mechanical seals
Knowledge of QMS and ISO systems
