- AVDF Configuration and Management:
- Configure system settings on the Audit Vault Server.
- • Create connections and targets for databases and operating systems.
- • Deploy and activate Audit Vault Agents on target host computers.
- • Configure audit trails for targets monitored by Audit Vault Agent.
- • Configure Database Firewall on the network.
- • Create Database Firewall monitoring points for targets.
- • Back up and archive audit and configuration data.
- • Create administrative users and manage access (super administrator only).
- • Configure Microsoft Active Directory or OpenLDAP.
- • Create high availability for Audit Vault Server.
- • Integration of AV server with central SIEM third party tools.
- Database Security Posture Management:
- Manage the security posture of Oracle Databases, providing visibility into security configuration, user entitlements, stored procedures, and sensitive data.
- • Assess and discover security vulnerabilities and risks.
- • Audit and monitor database activity on the network and within the database.
- • Protect against SQL injection threats.
- • Consolidate audit data into a secure and scalable repository.

- Security Event Analysis and Reporting:
- Analyze security events and activity reports to identify potential security breaches or misuse.
- • Provide forensic analysis of security events.
- • Generate reports for security and compliance regulations.
- • Configure alerts and notifications for security events.

- Compliance and Auditing:
- Ensure compliance with security standards and regulations.
- • Manage Oracle unified auditing and STIG- and CIS-compliant Oracle audit policies.
- • Track data access and modifications.
- • Detect data exfiltration attempts from databases.

- Other Skills:
- Strong understanding of Oracle databases and security concepts.
- • Experience with SQL and PL/SQL.
- • Knowledge of network security principles.
- • Familiarity with audit tools and technologies.

- 10+ years of hands-on experience in Oracle database administration & architecture.
- Strong expertise in Oracle RAC, Data Guard, GoldenGate, and RMAN.
- In-depth knowledge of Oracle internals, performance tuning, and SQL optimization.
- Hands-on experience with Linux environments, storage management, and cloud databases (OCI, AWS RDS, Azure DB).
- Strong troubleshooting, incident management, and automation skills.
- Excellent communication and ability to work in a fast-paced 24x7 support environment.
- Oracle Certified Master (OCM) – Oracle Database
- ITIL v4 Foundation (for incident & change management best practices)
- Cloud certifications (OCI, AWS, Azure) are a plus
