- Ensuring use of PPE's and zero accident through periodic meetings & training/counselling.
- Ensure availability of all C&I systems related to Boiler/AHP & auxiliaries.
- Short term planning & attending routine maintenance in above areas.
- Long term planning & execution of unit overhaul.
- Root cause analysis & action for avoiding recurrence of problems using latest technologies, improving plant reliability.
- Ensuring backups of DCS and PLC System.
- Ensuring availability of all equipment's (with respect to C&I systems).
- Budget preparation and manpower management.
- Coordination with other departments for minimizing delay and enhancing productivity.
- Spares/inventory Management and Development of Indigenous spares.
- Active Participation & Execution of BPT Process, IMS Implementation.
- Involving & Preparation for IMS, 5S and Technical Audits & Compliance.
- Ensure 100% ZFO implementation & zero human error.
- Root cause analysis & action for avoiding recurrence of problems using latest technologies, improving plant reliability.
- Subordinate development through OJT/counselling.
- Implementation of Health & Safety Management System (SMS).
- Responsible for implementation of CHETNA in own vertical/ Dept.
- Actively implementation SMS /IST of gas cylinder , JSA
- Responsible for compliance of OHS requirements
- Recognition of Unsafe Acts regarding work place Health & Safety
- Recognition of Unsafe Conditions related to work place Health & Safety
- Participate in department Health & Safety committee mitting
- Ensuring the participation of the departmental staffs/ agencies in the Health & Safety Committee Meetings
- Responsible for mitigation of Hazard Identified
- Reviewing of HIRA as per requirement
- Shall carry out mitigation plans for any hazardous process
- Responsible for Process Identification regarding HAZOP
- Responsible for the compliance of Health & Safety audit/ inspections in SAP- EHMS
- Ensuring increased participation in Health & Safety awareness programme
- Ensuring min. 10 hrs. Health & Safety training per annum
