Design, develop, and optimize complex AutoSys job workflows across multiple job types including file triggers, file transfers, Kubernetes and database integrations.
Write and maintain high-quality JIL scripts, calendars, and job configurations for Linux and Windows-based platforms.
Knowledge and experience around AutoSys cloud integrations.
Implement robust shell scripting solutions (4+ years) that follow best practices: meaningful return codes, comprehensive error handling, and efficient logging.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to AutoSys workflows and infrastructure, ensuring minimal downtime and high job success rates.
Collaborate with DBAs and application teams to create automated database jobs (MS SQL Server, Oracle). • Participate in migration projects involving AutoSys and other global enterprise workload automation platforms.
Support the delivery of installations, upgrades, disaster recovery planning, environment sizing, and performance optimization for AutoSys instances.
Engage in ITIL-aligned operational support and assist in problem, change, and incident management processes.
Contribute to training materials and knowledge transfer sessions to upskill peers and clients

Ideal Profile

5+ years of hands-on AutoSys Development experience with proven expertise in: o Kubernetes, File Trigger and File Transfer jobs o Database, POJO, AWS job types and calendar configurations o Advanced use of JIL and AutoSys command-line utilities
Strong experience with Linux Shell scripting: Error handling and logging best practices o Script modularization and code reusability
Working knowledge of Linux and Windows server administration
Solid understanding of database concepts and administration (MS SQL Server or Oracle)
Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot and resolve AutoSys job and infrastructure issues Preferred Qualifications (Nice to Have)
5+ years of AutoSys Administration: o Installation and configuration of AutoSys components (WCC, EEM, WA Agents) o Experience with Broadcom tools like AAI (JAWS), iDash o Planning and executing AutoSys upgrades and disaster recovery procedures
Workload Automation migration experience: Migration to/from AutoSys, and other tools like Control-M, Tidal, dSeries, Automic, UAC
Experience with Python scripting for automation tasks
ITIL Certification and prior experience in ITIL-based operational environments
Experience conducting AutoSys health checks, training sessions, and technical documentation
