Required QualificationsEducationBachelor’s Degree / Diploma in Electrical Engineering or Electrical & Electronics EngineeringExperience4–6 years of experience (adjustable) in: Electrical engineering for filling or packaging lines Manufacturing plants or industrial project environmentsHands‑on experience in installation and commissioning preferredKey ResponsibilitiesProject Engineering & ExecutionExecute electrical scope for new filling line installations, line expansions, and modificationsReview and finalize: Electrical single-line diagrams (SLD) Power distribution layouts Cable schedules and routing Equipment and panel specificationsCoordinate with project stakeholders to meet scope, schedule, cost, and quality targetsElectrical Systems & EquipmentDesign and supervise electrical systems including: MCCs, PCCs, VFD panels, machine control panels Power distribution for fillers, cappers, labelers, conveyors, case packers Motors, drives, sensors, and actuators (electrical interface)Ensure correct power requirements, grounding, and protection devicesInterface with OEM machines and system integrators for electrical integrationInstallation, Testing & CommissioningSupervise electrical installation, cable laying, termination, and panel installationConduct: Insulation resistance (IR) tests Continuity and earthing checks Power‑up inspections and electrical safety checksSupport and execute: FAT, SAT, and site commissioning activities Electrical troubleshooting during startup and trial runsSafety, Compliance & StandardsEnsure compliance with: Electrical safety standards and statutory regulations Machine safety requirements (interlocks, emergency stops, guarding)Participate in: Risk assessments, HAZOP, and electrical safety auditsEnsure documentation and installations comply with ISO, GMP, IS/IEC/NEC standards as applicableTechnical SkillsStrong knowledge of: Industrial electrical systems and power distribution Motors, VFDs, MCCs, relays, breakers, and panels Machine electrical safety and interlocksAbility to read and interpret: Electrical SLDs, wiring diagrams, layout drawingsWorking knowledge of: PLC panel interfaces and automation coordination Electrical testing tools and commissioning proceduresWork Location Assignment: On PremisePfizer is an equal opportunity employer and complies with all applicable equal employment opportunity legislation in each jurisdiction in which it operates.Engineering
