Job Title: Data Engineer (Junior) Cloud Migration ProjectsLocation: SingaporeContract: One YearSalary: Up to SGD 6,000 per monthExperience Required: 3-5 years of relevant experience in data engineering.Job BriefAre you a passionate Data Engineer who loves working with cloud and modern data tools?We are looking for a Junior Data Engineer with 3 5 years of experience to join an exciting cloud migration project with our client.In this role, you will build data pipelines, design cloud solutions, and work with tools like Informatica/IDMC, Databricks, Python, and AWS.If you enjoy solving problems, working with data, and learning new technologies, this is a great opportunity for you.Responsibilities

Design data solutions such as databases, data lakes, and data warehouses using AWS and Databricks.
Build and manage data pipelines using Informatica IDMC, AWS, and Databricks.
Create ETL processes to clean and transform data for analytics.
Integrate data from different systems and ensure data quality.
Monitor and improve performance of data processes.
Apply security best practices to protect sensitive data.
Automate data workflows using AWS and Databricks tools.
Maintain clear documentation of data systems and pipelines.
Work closely with data scientists, analysts, and engineers.
Troubleshoot and resolve data issues quickly.
Optimize cloud resources to manage costs.
Stay updated with new tools and best practices in data engineering.

Qualifications

Bachelor s or Master s degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, or related field.
3 5 years of relevant experience in data engineering.
Strong hands-on knowledge in Informatica/IDMC OR Databricks/Python (at least one must be strong).
Experience working with AWS services.
Good knowledge of SQL and database concepts (SQL/NoSQL).
Experience building ETL pipelines.
Good problem-solving and analytical skills.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Certifications Preferred:
AWS Cloud Practitioner
Databricks Certification
Informatica IDMC Data Engineer Certification

Preferred Skills

Experience with Python and Databricks.
Knowledge of data governance and data catalog tools (especially Informatica IDMC).
Experience with Tableau or other BI tools.
Basic knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes.
Understanding of DevOps and CI/CD pipelines.
Experience with Git or version control systems.
